Hi!  I'm Heather Sears, the gal behind the lens.

I'm a widow and a mother to 5 girls who loves capturing the beauty in each stage of life.  Photography has always been a hobby but I started making it my profession in 2011 and then I switched my focus to maternity and newborn photography in 2015.  My hobbies include the overuse of exclamation marks, editing to my heart's content, listening to music, watching reality cooking shows with my family, supporting moms, furthering my photography knowledge, and speaking fluent sarcasm. 

I am an award winning and published Kansas City (metro) photographer and member of the PPA (Professional Photographers of America), IAPBP (International Association of Professional Birth Photographers), Birth Becomes Her and Photography Association.  

Based out of Paola, KS (with my studio located in Osawatomie, KS) and travel in approximately an 80 mile radius.  Specializing in maternity and newborn photography.
